Chocolate Chip Monster Cookies
Ingredients:
3 3/4 cups Bite Size Shredded Wheat cereal
2 cups milk chocolate chips, divided
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 c. sugar
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a food processor or blender, grind shredded wheat until fine. Add 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips and process or blend until mixture is as fine as possible. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Beat flour mixture into butter mixture. Work crushed cereal into the mixture with a mixture or wooden spoon. Add remaining milk chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonful onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly browned and the centers are cracked but still moist. Remove from baking sheets and cool on a wire rack. YIELD: 4-5 dozen cookies.
