Grandma Barton's Biscuits

Our family loves this recipe. It is wonderful with soup or beans. Very easy!

8 c. flour
8 tsp. baking powder
4 tsp. salt
1 c. mayonnaise
4 c. milk

Mix all together with a fork. Bake in greased muffin pans at 425 for 15 minutes.

Hey Abbie,
Looks great! Thanks for sharing. I will try that on a busy night when I need a 'quickie' bread/side for soup. We have soup very often in the winter, so I will probably have a chance to make them soon. :-) Also, since we will have five extra mouths to feed from the 20th to the 28th, and I volunteered to do the cooking while they are here, I might welcome a quick and easy 'something'!!! => Not that I am complaining, I am looking forward to it.

Abbie,
I was looking at the recipe more closely, and noticed that it called for 8 cups of flour. I was wondering if you knew approximately how many biscuits you would get? How much dough do you put in the muffin cups? 1/2 full??
Thanks,
krissy

Did you make them? If so, how did they turn out?

Hmmm...the approximate amount of biscuits....I thing it's something like 28 to 32. Excellent side with soup. BTW: I will also be posting another bicuit recipe soon!
