Cheddar Burgers and Veggies

Prep time: 20 minutes
Grill time: 20 minutes

3 lbs. ground beef
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 small onion, chopped (approx. 6 tablespoons)
4 teaspoons Lawry's seasoning salt
About 14 large Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced
4 cups baby carrots
2/3 cups green onions, sliced (optional)

Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat. Spray half of one side of fourteen 18x12-inch sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil with cooking spray.

Mix beef, cheese, Worcestershire sauce, chopped onions and 3 teaspoons seasoning salt. Shape mixture into 14 patties, about an inch thick

Place sliced potatoes on sprayed sides of foil sheets. Top with beef patty, carrots, and sliced onions (optional); sprinkle with remaining 1 teaspoon seasoning salt. Fold foil over patties and vegetables so edges meet. Seal edges making a tight 1/2-inch fold; fold again. Allow space on sides for circulation and expansion.

Grill packets 4-6 inches from medium heat 17-20 minutes or until potatoes are tender and meat is thoroughly cooked. Place packets on plates or cookie sheet. Cut a large X across the top of packet; fold back foil.

This is a very big favorite in the summer time! It's a good meal to have outside, and it is a very easy meal. It is also nice, because you can use paper plates and make it very easy for clean-up. Enjoy!
