Smokie Bacon Bites

2 lbs. Bacon
1 package Little Smokies (we buy ours in a big pack at Sam's Club; I think it is a 16 oz. package.)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut bacon in half crosswise. Wrap each Little Smokie with half of a bacon slice; secure with toothpick. Place in 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes or until bacon is browned. We like to bake these in our
Large Bar Pan from Pampered Chef. They seem to brown just perfectly then.

This is a great recipe to use as an appetizer, snack, side dish, or just about anything! It is fairly simple to make, and also they don't take long to bake. Enjoy!!

Oh, Krissy, you just made me hungry!!! Those look delicious.
I'm kind of a meat-lover so maybe we'll try these sooner than later!

Hi, Mrs. McDonnell! Nice to hear from you. Yes, you should try these if you like meat! They are REALLY good! We are all meat-lovers too, so we like to have them on family night for a snack... They also work well to make them ahead, and stick them in the fridge. Then, when you want them, all you have to do is stick them in the oven, and mmmm. :-)

Enjoy! :-)
