"Mrs. Ballenger's Chicken"

3 lbs. chicken strips
1 stick butter or margarine
poultry seasoning
garlic (you can use garlic salt, and then not have to use additional salt)

Melt butter in large skillet, layer in chicken. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, basil and garlic. Cook until golden brown, turn over and sprinkle with seasonings again. Cook on remaining side. ~Compliments of Rachel Ballenger~

We like to serve this with Rice Pilaf (recipe below).

Yes, Emily, I got the recipe from Mrs. Ballenger. :-) It IS a really good recipe. I think it was just a concoction she made up. She served it to us one time, so that is how I go the recipe. We all really enjoy it...!
