Topped, Baked Potatoes

I thought that this recipe was an excellent selection for variety in our menus! It works incredibly well for quick, stick together meals which must be prepared in a short amount of time.

An extra note: The toppings for this recipe are strictly to your family’s taste. There are numerous different things that you can utilize in this recipe, and I've just included the ingredients that my family has enjoyed. Creativity is the key!

Topped, Baked Potatoes

Ingredients:
12 medium sized Potatoes
3-5 lbs Hamburger
4c. Tomatoes
2c. Red Onion
2 bags shredded Cheese (mozzarella, cheddar or Mexican mix)
3 16 oz containers, Sour cream
6 medium sized Mushrooms
2c. Broccoli
2c. Ham
1-2c. bacon bits
Salsa
Black Olives
JalapeƱo peppers
Banana peppers

Meat seasoning:
2 T. Minced onion
1T. Garlic salt
2 T. Parsley flakes
2 T. Chopped chives
1 pkg. Taco seasoning
1 can Pinto beans (optional)
Preparation:
Bake potatoes at 400˚F until tender (about 1 hour). Brown hamburger, drain grease, and add meat seasoning (listed above). Chop the toppings of choice relatively small. When served, slice open potato and sprinkle with desired toppings.

Servings: 12

Ummmm...Those sound good! I will have to try them soon! We have something potato at least 3 times a week, so I am sure I can try them sometime in the near future. :-) Thanks for posting!
