Monkey Bread

2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 tubes-biscuits
Cut 4 tubes of biscuits into quarters. Stir these into sugar and cinnamon. Place in greased cake or bundt pan.
1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
Melt together in saucepan. Pour over biscuit pieces. Bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes.
After removing from oven, turn upside down on foil-covered plate. Leave for 15 minutes then remove pan. After slightly cool, pull into desired size clumps with fork and serve warm.
These are really good and Grandma Eddy usually makes them when we go to Iowa. Our family likes them and I hope you will too! -Emily McD.

Emily,
We really like this recipe! Our recipe is a little different direction wise, but other than that, it's the same.
Have you ever tried this recipe using italian seasoning instead of cinnamon and sugar? We make it with italian seasoning for a bread to go with spaghetti or lasagna. It is really good!
Thanks for posting! ttyl, krissy
